In a joint operation by state and federal forces, two men identified as suspected instigators of violence and possible members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) were arrested in the municipality of San Matías Tlalancaleca. The action was the result of coordination between the Secretariat of the Navy (SEMAR), the Secretariat of National Defense (DEFENSA), the National Guard, the Secretariat of Public Security of the State of Puebla, and the Attorney General's Office of the State of Puebla. Detainees identified The detainees were identified as Osiel N., 49, and Mauricio N., alias 'El Caballero,' 28, from the State of Mexico and Mexico City, respectively. According to intelligence work, both subjects allegedly operated in the San Martín Texmelucan area, where they may be linked to criminal activities. During the operation, authorities secured live cartridges, wrappers with possible drugs, cash, and a vehicle with license plates from the state of Michoacán. The state government highlighted that these actions are part of the strengthening of the security strategy to confront crime head-on and generate conditions of peace in the entity.
